Summer always means a lot of thrift store and garage sale shopping, and for me, my birthday as well. All of these things mean that I tend to collect a few more household items (and clothing) during the summer months. I’ve recently acquired some pretty great stuff, which I’ll share here.
First, my sister was awesome enough to find me this lamp. I LOVE THIS LAMP. It goes perfectly in my office.
Other office additions include this footstool and rug (which cost me a whopping $5 combined), which have since become favorite cat hangout spots.
An antique mall yeilded this awesome pear-shaped dish. It’s the perfect home for an air plant.
I picked up a super cute pot at Third Sunday Market. I love turquoise so hard.
Love this whale paperweight, too! He’s a cutie.
I found a cheap tray to organize some things in the downstairs bathroom.
Rounding out my new finds is this glass dome. No stand, but I think I might pick up a stump of some sort somewhere to use. Though I did find a piece of petrified wood at Anthropologie that would be perfect, but is perhaps, too pricey.

Great stuff–I have an odd question: Do you have written down the brand/name of your grey paint? (the one behind the glass dome) Love that color! Thanks
Hi! I do not know the name of the paint on the walls, as it was already up when we moved in. I do know that’s it’s Benjamin Moore, but I doubt that helps! I wish I did know the name so I could get some extra for touch ups!
